description of Teacher:
I am passionate about teaching and the subjects I teach. I have taught in a Community High School in Scotland for the past seven and a half years and would like the opportunity to expand this experience and teach to a wider, more varied group of students - most importantly those who choose to learn out of a genuine interest in the subject matter.

Teacher's qualifications:
I have a Master of Arts Degree incorporating Politics, Sociology, Economics, Cultural Anthropology, Social Policy and Education.
I subsequently completed a Post Graduate Certificate of Education at Secondary Level allowing me to teach in High Schools.
Since then I have taught Modern Studies to students ranging in age from 11 years old to adult.

Teacher's preferred teaching style:
I use a great variation of methods in my teaching. I am very computer literate and love to produce new materials and presentations. I use an electonic SMART board in my classroom and believe student participation and interaction is the most producive and rewarding way to learn.
