My area of expertise is in the media coverage of wars and conflict, in particular the present Iraq occupation and the Gulf war, which is the subject of my Phd thesis. The focal point of my research has been the propoganda videos issued by the insurgent forces in Iraq and how new media has revolutionised the covergae of wars.
