long description:
I have six years of teaching at both the public school and college level. I taught 9th grade regular Language Arts as well as 11th grade gifted and talented English Literature. I have taught, at the college level, Freshman Composition, Developmental Composition, Advanced Composition, Speech, and Reading.I have also tutored composition classes. I was taught how to teach English while I was a student in the Master's degree program at Middle TN State University in Murfreesboro where I attended school for my first year of my Master's degree. I also have a Master's of Divinity from Austin Seminary where I graduated with highest of honors at the head of my class. I was an excellent student and have had a succesful career as a teacher. I have a passion for teaching, and enjoy reading and grading essays, as well as interacting with students.

I am available at all times since I am currently between positions, although I may be called upon to be and adjunct and tutor at NMSU-C.
fee comments:
I am not familiar enough with your set up to appropriately set a fee. I earn $12.00 and hour tutoring at college, and $600.00 a class per semester. I would expect at least that fee.

I am a creative, interactive teacher. I have recently taught as Adjunct English composition teacher at New Mexico State University-Carlsbad teaching Developmental English and tutoring Developmental English classes. I have also taught at Crownpoint College (now re-named Navajo College) in Crownpoint, New Mexico where I was a full English professor teaching Freshman and Sophomore Composition. I have taught at East Texas Community College in Mt. Pleasant Texas, again as an adjunct teaching Freshman Composition. Further, I taught at Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas where I taught four classes in Freshman Composition.

I have an excellent lecture style which is creative and interactive with students. I also enjoy working one on one with students concerning their assigments. I encourage lively discussion and vigorous studious behavior from my students. I have an engaging personality which reaches out to students as individuals and helps them to respond to the material which I am teaching. I have a firm grasp of my material, of teaching literature, composition, and grammar, and am articulate and well-able to express the education necessary to the students.
