All great speakers share a common trait: They're genius of effective conversation is not inherent but rather learned and adapted by studying those that went before them. Although we are enamored by the oratory skills of public figures from time to time, none was born with the ability to persuade or inspire. Instead, what makes them good is the depth of their desire to learn the basic skills that set great speakers apart from average. Several studies rank President Kennedy as the finest speaker in modern times. In fact he studied FDR and Churchill and put his own spin or human stamp on their style. Thus learning to speak confidently is not simply based on memorizing specific stages and gestures, but through observing a variety of speaking styles followed by a guided practice of subsets that become natural. Through practice the normal anxiety diminishes as public speaking becomes intuitive which is apparent by both the speaker and any given audience.

I am available from 8am through 9pm Monday through Thursday- with a small break for carpooling bet at 2pm. On Fridays I would prefer to end at 6pm. Saturday is a catch up day where I believe 10am to 5pm is sufficient. Whereas Sunday is limited to a 1pm -9 pm schedule. However, due to the late hours I keep, I am flexible to work with students much later than stated based on the urgency of their need.

comments: In this course, the basic strategies of numerous speaking formats are introduced and described. The pros and cons of the use of each are analyzed by a speaker?s normal delivery style and the context of the actual speech. The students then select a mixture of components that are applied to conversational topics (still public speaking) so that the student can develop outlines for their sample conversations trying out a series of attention getting strategies and deciphering which are the most natural for their final assignment of developing a speech which they will deliver to me on a future date and can be analyzed.

I have excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the keen ability to articulate my thoughts through using analogies to translate the most technical of concepts into general understanding.

's preferred teaching style:
To expand on my self description as a teacher I would describe my self as an educator who cares much more about each student learning the process of understanding how to effectively understand a topic. Thus, I use visual teaching aides, especially a visually ineteractive PowerPoint that allows the visual learnings to hear more than usual as the visual input is already available. I use many handouts and study charts sot that there is decrease the amount of tote memory data required to for a test, as that would not be learning. I am considered a very level lectureer by not assuming that students can't synthesize the information through context and assuring the the movitavee (A+)student can learn as much as possible so that more in carried to other concepts as well as in the real world. For those with difficulty in learning at this level, an "I don't know" answer to my question will spark off a cyclical pattern of further questions until the student reaches the last level he understood and then work back up to the answer using deductive knowlege- known as the Socratic method.
