Help home and business owners represent themselves in their property tax protests and appeals.

You will learn the system used by appraisal districts in determining values that establish the taxes on your property. You will learn the procedures involved in the protest process and how to structure your appeal. We will discuss the appropriate approach to take when structuring your case. You will learn what kind and how to find the evidence you need to convince an Appraisal Review Board that the value assessed by the county is too high and should be reduced. You will learn ablut binding arbitration and how to present your case to an arbitrator. We will also discuss the procedures involved in bringing you case to district court.

I am a Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC)certified Real Estate Instructor authorized to teach Mandatory Continuing Education courses to licensees and attorneys. I teach a formal class entitled :Protesting Property Taxes: Things your Client's Should Know". I am an IBM certified Instructor. I open a topic with an explaination and lecture, than take questions until I feel that the student completely understands the topic before proceeding to the next. I like an open dialog between students and myself.
