description of :
I taught English and English as a Second Language as well as computer lab and careers classes for 20 years in Southern California. I have enjoyed teaching at all levels from kindergarten to community college to adults returning to school. Writing and journalism are two of my biggest interests. I love desktop publishing and publish a successful dog breed magazine six times per year. I have self-published books, newsletters, magazines, and have written for a newspaper.

Teacher's qualifications:
I hold a BA degree in Journalism Education from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters Degree in English Education (emphasis in TESL) from Oklahoma State University. I have the Community College Certificate for teaching Adult Basic Education in California, and I hold a lifetime Language Development Specialist certificate.

's preferred teaching style:
I generally work by outline and structure, but applying one's personal interests to the subject is very important.
