As a teacher and a single parent I have sought out and gathered information and
strategies from many sources in my effort to be an effective parent and teacher.
I believe single parents need extra support sometimes--especially from other single
parents who have had some success navigating challenging situations. I could help
with areas like finding your discipline style, finding your blind spots when dealing
with your children, how to deal with gifted kids and how to plan fun and enriching
family time together--how to be close to and positively influence your children.
