The nutritional demands for an active individual are different than the inactive individual. This course aims to teach you: the three main energy categories that exercises/activities fall into and how to eat to optimize your workout; the importance of when you eat (timing); how to calulate how much protein and carbohydrates your body needs depending on a varitey of factors; hydration- what to drink, how much and when; and warning signs of nutrition based symptoms (dehydration, hypoglycemia, etc)
