description of :
I am currently an Instructor of Horticulture and Forestry for adults with mental health problems.

I'm writing a college lesson (Weather for Grdeners) for the Horticultural Correspondence College and hope to become a tutor with them in the future.

I have many years experience in the Military and Private Industry developing and managing on-the-job training programs for junior Meteorology staff.

I was a part time substitute teacher and atletics coach at a residential home for troubled teens in the past.

Teacher's qualifications:
I'm a Horticulture & Forestry Instructor (to NVQ/SVQ level) with a Scottish Mental Health Charity.

Lancaster University (Lonsdale College), Lancaster, England. 2006-ongoing. "Certificate in Ecology and Environmental Studies"

Horticultural Correspondence College, Chippenham, England. 2005-2006. "Conservation Studies"

Open University, Milton Keynes, England. 2001-2003. "Physical Resources & Environment" and "Earth and Life"

Community College of the Air Force, Montgomery, Alabama, USA. 1981-1994. "Weather Technology" (67 Credit hours).

Christian Bible College, Rocky Mount, North Carolina, USA. 1986-1989. "ThA Degree, Associate of Theology".

Brandon Senior High School, Brandon, Florida, USA. 1980. "Graduate".

's preferred teaching style:
I am a cheerful person, who enjoys a hands-on and pro-active approach to teaching. I enjoy getting involved in the learning process with students and will make sure the students understand the process of learning as much as the material being studied. I see learning as a life-long journey and have always encouraged people to explore the world through education.
