long description:
Course is largely divide into two sections: a grammatical bulk and a practical use of Japanese. The japanese characters-Kanji-will only be tackled briefly in these sessions. However the oral use of Japanese will be emphasised and we shall cover aspects and differences between formal japanese and popular japanese. Students who are willing to pursue into further levels of Japanese may contact me and arrangements may be made.
