's preferred teaching style:
I enjoy teaching one-to-one with students. Try to encourage them with polite suggestions to improve their writing. I first determine what the student has learned so far and where the writing needs improvement. I then develop a structure for helping in those areas while delivering important general information to the student. I prefer a relaxed, rather light-hearted approach. An emphasis on getting the student to the point of editing their own work.
