description of :
I am currently reading for an M.A. in European Studies at the University of Malta. I am in possession of a degree (B.A. Hons, second-upper) in Italian, and teach Italian at secondary-level. I am T.E.F.L. qualified, and have taught English to foreign students. I have also worked as a journalist, writing articles for the culture section of a web-portal (a yahoo search of my name will provide some).
Teacher's qualifications:
T.E.F.L.
B.A. (Hons.) Italian
M.A. European Studies (expected summer 2005)
Relevant Experience:
Teacher of English as a Foreign Language in summer 2004.
[Currently] Teacher of Italian at secondary level.
Culture Contributor up to 2005.
's preferred teaching style:
My preferred teaching style is definitelty dialogical. Offline assignments are sometimes important, but mostly it will be a reading exercise. I can never stress enough the importance of reading. A teacher can only point the way, it is through reading that one reaches the targeted destination.
