We have all been on the job market at some point in our lives. Filling out
applications, going on interviews, filling out more applications, waiting on call
backs and so on. The experience can be frustrating especially if you are not
receiving those phone calls or getting the job offers.

Over a series of sessions, we will review the basics of searching for
employment, the Dos and Don'ts of job seeking, filling out applications,
interview preparation and follow up with companies.

Session 1: Ask Yourself: What type of job am I looking for and what
companies do I apply to? (1 hour)
Session 2: Resume and Cover Letter preparation, applying with companies
(45 minutes)
Session 3: Interview preparation, the actual interview and follow up (1 hour)

M-Fri 5pm EST - 2am EST
Sat & Sun 9am EST-2am EST

Prior to my current position, I was a Recruiting and Training Manager for an upscale grocery retailer and was responsible for all recruitment efforts and training programs for my specific region. I have a passion for assisting others achieve their professional goals.
Teacher's qualifications:
I have 12 years of experience recruiting in both corporate and agency environment. In addition to recruiting and sourcing candidates, I also have many years of experience in teaching and training on various subjects such as interviewing skills, leadership, food safety compliance,customer service and diversity. For the past 2 years, I have been homeschooling my three children ranging in grade levels from 2nd to 7th grade.
's preferred teaching style:
My materials and teaching aides are structured but my teaching style is very informal. I bring a mixture of personal anecdotes and experiences and encourage person/group interaction in a conversational way.
