Dr. Cheri Kittrell

description of :
I believe that an engaged student is a student who will learn. I strive to make sure that my students are engaged with course material, generally through technology, but also through hands-on labs, group projects, and class activities. Active thinking is important!

Teacher's qualifications:
I have 18 years of experience teaching. I also have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, a Master's degree, in Psychology, and a Master's degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, as well as a Bachelor's degree from Florida State University.

's preferred teaching style:
My teaching style is authentic and genuine. I tend to use personal story telling and humor when I lecture, although I don't commonly use lecture. I prefer to use a reflective, interactive, discussion approach, even in large classes. In order to accomplish this, I utilize technology, such as cell phones, back channeling, and group discussions.
