Leadership is the ability to influence a group of people towards a goal. In this course students will increase their own leadership capacities through feedback, reflection and practice. Even though all of us have had leadership opportunities, we all too rarely receive candid, insightful feedback on our actual performance that then allows us to think, act and speak more effectively in the next situation. The heart of this course is the information used to reveal the foundation leadership skills that will lead to the students’ success as being a highly respected and confident leader. Students will use readings, experiential exercises, and self-reflection, as well as focused coaching and feedback, to optimize their own leadership capabilities

Substitute Teacher (2003 to 2005)
Instruct various courses for multiple grade levels.
Develop and administer lessons in numerous subject areas to students of various learning skills; used diverse methods of differentiation of instruction to assist students in studying subject matters, Proctored exams for various classes.

Designed Online Learning Environment using the Learning Management System-Blackboard. Developed online pilot course “Leadership and Team building for the Missionary” using the Blackboard system. Design and implement strategies that will assist the students in meeting course objectives, advises students on course program issues, evaluates achievements and progress and provide a supportive learning environment. These goals are met by producing a syllabus, assignments, discussion board, critical thinking analysis, assessments, rubric platform, power point and internet research. Using readings, experiential exercises, and self-reflection, as well as focused coaching and feedback strategies will optimize their own leadership capabilities.
Designed & Developed Senior Citizen Community Program. Organize medical seminars for seniors, involving blood pressure and diabetic checks, medication explanations of side effects, answer and questions forum concerning any problems the seniors may experience. Providing senior agency and government program information. Establish intergenerational programs involving seniors and youth, Senior recognition and Friends and Family days programs.

Teacher's qualifications:
Manage the operations of a comprehensive International Missions Department; coordinate and teach seminars in various countries, enhance communication and learning skills to both old and young students in underdeveloped locations. Teach Leadership and Team Building seminars to new and mature foreign mission workers. Teach senior groups book club and an advocate for intergenerational programs.
's preferred teaching style:
I believe education is one of the greatest assets one can have. Knowledge, understanding and comprehension can promote or prevent students to reach their goals. But I also believe that the students that have the potential to become great leaders in our society need teachers that love their job, are committed, exhibits patience understanding and knowledge of each student’s talents and abilities and are willing to encourage, not discourage, push and build up every student’s self confidence.

The instructor must respect diverse talents and ways of learning. Educators should develop an understanding of individual differences in learning. The instructor must keep in mind that each student is an individual and learning is a continual process. People learn at different speeds and positive reinforcement is a good tactic in helping the student use the material or exhibit the behavior taught in the course.
