I have wide range of knowledge and skills, focusing on English history, genealogy, literature and theatre. I am currently self employed as a professional genealogist, and have been doing this for around 15 years.

    Teacher's qualifications:
Further & Adult Education Teaching Certificate
    BA Honours Degree in Humanities

    's preferred teaching style:
    Informal & interactive.
I like to use visual sources as much as possible, and also for the students to carry out work on their own family tree as part of the learning process. This makes it fun and exciting, and we will learn about issues/problems/possibilities as they come up.
