Students will learn and practice methods to control anger and anxiety including meditaiton and mindfulness practices.
 
long description:
The methods learned here can be used to deal with any emoiton even though the
target emotion is anger. We focus on conflict resolution as well as immediate and
preventative methods of anger control.

One need not have a major issue with anger to benefit from this course.

When there is more than one student attending the course also serves as a support
group for those dealing with this issue.

    Prevention Support Specialist
    • Conducts Anger/Stress Management Classes for incarcerated male and female inmates as well as juveniles charged as adults in local county jail. Also conducts the same class at the agency for groups upwards of 30 individuals who are on probation.
