description of :
I have been teaching for five years. I
started as a teacher of English as a Foreign
Language which has given me a good
background in how to successfully meet the
needs of language learners as adults. For
the past three years I have been teaching
French and German to younger pupils, whilst
tutoring older pupils to a more advanced
level.

Teacher's qualifications:
I am a qualified teacher with a Masters in
Education from the Institute of Education. I
have a 2:1 from the University of Bath in
French and German.

's preferred teaching style:
Lessons are well-structured with a clear
objective, steps to success and
opportunities for assessment for learning.
Each lesson will start with a fun warm up
before describing the key aims of the
lesson. The new language will be introduced
in a realistic way and the pupil will be
given opportunities to apply and practise
their learning in a variety of ways. The
final section of the lesson will enable both
the student and the teacher to reflect on
the learning that has taken place and
evaluate the next steps to be take in the
following lesson.
