TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Sikkim Manipal University, Garia centre

Teaching C programming, Data structure using
C, object oriented programming with C++,
TCP/IP Networking and Operating system with
UNIX, to their BCA, MCA and B.Sc aspirants

It is a West Bengal Board affiliated English
Medium Higher Secondary Co-educational
School.
Subjects taught—Computer Science and
Computer Applications

Taught computers to the class V upto XII. I
was the only computer teacher in the whole
school. Efficiently managed the students to
do both the practical and theoretical
classes. Conducted special sessions for weak
students and helped brilliants to enhance
their knowledge. Given extra practical hours
to the willing students, devoting my off
periods. Prepared easy and comprehensive
notes and lesson plans ensuring that each
student is able to retain and understand the
importance of gaining a solid education and
how computer correlates with everyday life.

S N Educare

A premiere Information Technology Institute
(a WBSCTE affiliated computer institute. A
study center for IGNOU - BCA course also).
Area of teaching included computer
fundamentals, MS Office, Visual Foxpro
(using + programming), networking, C, C++,
JAVA

British Institutes

April’99-Dec’01

secondary Co-educational school
Subjects taught—Computer & Biology

Taught biology along with computers to
the middle classes. Promoted proper
classroom etiquettes. Given extra efforts to
the students, those who are finding
difficulties to understand the task. As
being a class teacher, I kept all the
records of each student up-to-date. I
personally used to talk to other subject
teachers as how the students doing in their
respective subjects then used to discuss the
matters with the headmistress and guardians.
Sometimes I used to be friendly with the
students so that they frankly tell me their
problems.

St. Ann’s Academy
July’97-Mar’99
Subjects taught—Computer

This was my first experience of
teaching, just after I finished my
graduation and done the O’ level course.
Here I taught computer fundamentals,
LOGO, BASIC. I also taught general Knowledge
along with the computers. And learnt basic
classroom management strategies from my
seniors.

's preferred teaching style:
First I'll see the course curriculum of the
student, then accordingly I'll prepare my
lesson plan. if the student wants to go
according to my course structure, that is
also fine,I'll give the introduction of the
topic and keywords, explain it to them and
then give notes, if the student is not able
to understand he/she is free to ask it
again. next day I'll first give the recap of
previous day's lecture, ask questions then
continue, I'll take tests after completion
of the Chapter.
