TEACHING EVALUATIONS
Teaching Style:
1. Developing and encouraging students
to explore their full potentials.
2. Removal of any form of distraction,
including, but not limited to rings and
necklaces (for ages 6 to 12), cell phones,
and chewing gum.
3. Guidance on physical hygiene;
unkempt hair, dirty extremities, and untidy
clothes are not allowed.
4. Mandatory class participation; even
if the student lacks confidence and/ or
makes constructive mistakes; learning is a
confidence-builder.
5. The language of tuition is English,
which people in this region are actively
oriented to be petrified of; through
demonstrations, renderings of unfamiliar
words are made in the local vernacular.
6. The class is completely interactive;
questions, comments and observations are
encouraged. Again, a first in this
environment.
7. Individual attention and support is
provided to each learner each time it is
required.
Learning Evaluations:
1. Class work is assigned to every
student and depending on the topic and the
ease of comprehension by students, lasts for
up to 75% of class time.
2. Regular assignments/ homework are
given to students.
3. Long-term evaluation tests are
conducted every six weeks.
4. These forms of evaluations test the
cognitive and affective domains of
knowledge.
