description of :
I currently teach middle school science with a focus on virtual learning and the incorporation of laptops. This allows me to be a highly effective online tutor. I am also knowledgeable in cheerleading and leadership skills.
Teacher's qualifications:
I graduated first in my high school graduating class of over 700 students. I attended an honors college with a full academic scholarship including tutition, books, parking fees, ibook laptop, unlimited access to fully equiped office, private academic counseling, room and board. I graduated Cum Laude in only three years. My BA is in Natural Science with an emphasis on biology. I was hired as a full-time 8th grade science teacher before completing any credential classes or student teaching. I am currently in my 6th year of teaching 8th grade science in a highly renowned California public school. I have also coached competitive cheer for 13 years and was a member of Nationally ranked/titled school and all-star teams. My cheerleading knowledge expanses all levels and I would prefer to tutor science for grades K-12.
's preferred teaching style:
I will teach through the incorporation of real life examples and more importantly a series of online virtual laboratory experiences. I also have access to numerous other online activities perfect for increasing a student's knowledge base of all sciences up to grade 12. I believe in giving one on one instruction followed by individual practice, assessment and then finished with reteaching until a concept is fully grasped. I am trained in teaching students who are English learners as well.
