In this course, you will find ways to narrow down your topic in just the right way for just the right occasion. Organizing your writing will lead your readers through a narrow trail, and sentence fluency and vocabulary will add style and precision to your ideas. Voice portrays the real unique & individual you, and you will learn how to read your own writing with a critical eye as the 1st editor of any piece you create. This course will help in the development of good writing whether you are a beginner or a seasoned writer.

Taught Minnesota State Writing Test prep with self-made curriculum which emphasized the 6 Traits of Writing. The passing rates of my students with this curriculum has been 94% or greater. Taught journalism and produced a high school newspaper. Taught research & research papers. Journal writing and daily oral language through sentence editing were also emphasized through my instruction. Taught grammar, vocabulary & spelling, and technical writing.

B.S. In Language Arts, 7-12 in the state of Minnesota. Nine and one-half years as jr. high and high school English instructor in grades seven-12.
