description of :
I take an enthusiastic approach. I like to get to know
how my students learn so that I can teach them most
effectively. I like to give students the chance to use
personal experience to help then learn and relate to
course material.
 
Teacher's qualifications:
In addition to tutoring for 3 years, I have a bachelors
degree is Criminal Justice, and am currently pursuing
my masters in behavior analysis. I hold certificates in
Alcohol Abuse, Drug Abuse, Heroin Addiction,
Toxicology, Axis I and II Disorders, and Child Welfare.
Aside from that I have taught career skills to ex-
convicts for 6 months.
 
's preferred teaching style:
My teaching style is to teach a concept and then ask
students to show their understanding by applying their
knowledge to a real-life scenario. While I believe in
reading the text, I feel written assignments really show
whether or not students 'get' the lesson. I do not rely
heavily on tests, but do use them to gauge where the
class is as a whole.
