A fusion of social and creative skills with technical prowess, gained from training and experience in the areas of Education, Performing Arts, Science and Psychology.

I have been an Educator for seven (7) years and currently divide my time in the following areas:
Sexual Health Promotion Professional, Theatre/Carnival/Folk Artist and IEC (Information/Education/Communication) Officer with an HIV/AIDS organisation.

My experience and approach to life and education in general is multidisciplinary, which makes for a very dynamic and memorable & enjoyable pedagogical process.

Teacher's qualifications:
Registered teacher since 1991. However, formal teaching experience spans roughly 8 years. I have taught Integrated Science, Mathematics and Theatre Arts to high school students.

I am currently an educator (IEC Officer - Information, Education, Communication Officer) for an HIV/AIDS organisation and so my teaching as an employee focuses on HIV/AIDS basic information, Condon Skills, Sexuality and Sexual Health.

Consultant/Workshop Facilitator – EU/THACCS HIV/AIDS Village Council Grant Programme for Tobago
Did workshop facilitations for this project for over 10 villages throughout Tobago as well as coordinated the project in collaboration with the Tobago HIV/AIDS coordinating Committee Secretariat. Workshops included: Communication Skills, Developing Messages, Behaviour Change Communication, Condom Demonstration/Skills, Human Sexuality, Drama/Theatre-in-Education for Social Development, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Safe and Safer Sex.

•Personal and professional development, capacity building workshops •Interventions, developmental theatre for public and private corporations, youth groups and village councils

 
's preferred teaching style:
My offline workshops presentations are done in a drama-in-education context, so to translate this methodology for a virtual classroom means I use lots of animated presentations, role play online and links to videos footage where available.
