description of :
I feel the need to introduce myself again, although my name is on this profile. I am Katlin O'Connor, and I am a 20-year-old student. While I may be paying for my education, which includes more than 3 years of Plant and Soil Sciences as well as 2 years of culinary classes, I am hoping to reduce the cost for folks who just want to know the basics. Face it. We all want to learn something new, but that doesn't mean we want to major in it. We may not even want to work in that field. However you can't stop the thirst for knowledge, so I am hoping to bring some exciting new classes to the table.
Teacher's qualifications:
I am currently graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with a Bachelor's Degree in Plant and Soil Science. I will attend Graduate School in the fall at UT Knoxville to achieve a Master's in Entomology. I volunteer in classroom settings with children, and I am trained to lead tours through public gardens for any age group.
's preferred teaching style:
I prefer live interaction so that questions can be addressed in promptly. There's nothing worse than feeling disconnected from an instructor or tutor. Class is a relaxed and fun atmosphere, and input is always appreciated.
