long description:
The Infusions & Decoctions
The use of medicinak herbak teas is one of the basic ways of
healing & also the fastest and easily absorbed in the bodies
digestive system. The blend or blends of herbs steeped in hot
water release the healing potencies and implement a flushing action throughout the bodies systems which help to remove
toxins, strengthen the bodies system where weakend and
provide a healing affect.

To make this heaking tea you have four methods:

1. Decoction, a dedcoction is an herbal tea made from barks & or roots, to make a decoction you use 2 tbles. of chopped or cut
pieces of herbs and place them into 1 cup of cold water, bring to a light boil, then cover and let simmer for approximately 20-30 minutes. Strain into a cup and sip slowly. Keep keep left over in a glass jar and store in refrigerator for 1 week only.

2. Infusion, an infusion is made from fresh, dried, or powdered herbs. Use one teas. of fresh, dried or powdered herb, or 4 opened capsules of powdered herbs. Place in a cup or glass container and pour boiling water over it. Let it steep for 10 to 20 minutes. (NEVER BOIL) Strain and slip slowly or pour in container and store in refrigerator for 1 week.

3. Herbal Broth, mix 2 tbles. of dry herbal ingredients into 2 cups of hot water. Let stand for about 10 minutes. Sip over 45 minutes for better digestion.

4. A cold infusion, use 1 teas. of dried powdered, or fresh herbs. Place in a glass or ceramic container, pour 1 cup of water over herbs and let stand for one hour or more. A cold infusion can also be made exactly like sun tea by placing herbs in a glass container and letting it stand in the sun.

Remember always gently crmble herbs and flowers, break or chop roots abd barks into pieces for best results.

You can also use a tea strainer, tea ball, cheese cloth or tea bag. Use stainless steel pans for boiling water. Drink teas at least 3 to 4 times a day to allow teas to work.

Now it is time for you to create your own blend of medicinal infusions and decoctions. Make a healing tea for yourself, using methods 1-4.
