description of :
I
Teacher's qualifications:
CELTA qualification in teaching English as a foreign language-pass with merit.
Delta qualification in teaching English as a foreign language-pass with merit.
10 years experience teaching English in Italy, the UK and Argentina.
I have taught Business English, English for special purposes and general English at all levels from absolute beginner to advanced.
I lived in Italy for 8 years and taught Italian to beginners and elementary level students. I have lived in Argentina for 2 years and have taught Spanish to beginners.
's preferred teaching style:
I use a highly communicative style. I believe that learners need to feel relaxed in order to learn a language, so I am responsible for creating a positive, relaxed yet focused atmosphere in our lessons.I prefer to adapt my approach to the individual needs of each and every specific learner as a person, rather than using the same approach for everybody regardless of their needs and preferences. However, I like to use a wide range of written and audio materials and relate the learning to the learner's subjective reality, acting as a human bridge leading into the target language and culture.
