More in the field of Fictional reading a person needs, or wants, to be able to visualize the setting, actions, and dialogue of the story in order to appreciate it to the fullest.
Likewise in Nonfiction, a person needs to be able to gather the facts, and meaning, of what is written quickly in order to put that information to use.
In my experience I am able to accomplish this, and am willing to teach others as well.
