I am available to look over any papers or essays or written work that you are creating and will give you as much advice and constructive criticism as I can. My goal is to help you learn from any mistakes but also to take note of all the things you're doing right.

I am also willing to help with any questions about Candian culture that may be puzzling or worrisome to you. I'm happy to consult with you about any day-to-day events that you witness that need clarification. You can feel free to ask any question you'd like without embarrassment or fear of being rude.

Linda Moore

description of :
My name is Linda Moore. I am a Canadian citizen and a native English speaker. I have always loved the challenge of helping people of different language backgrounds to become fluent in the occassionally tongue-twisting lanuguage known as English.
Teacher's qualifications:
I have taken many English courses at the University level as I persued a Bachelor of Arts degree and am currently enrolled as a student in the Educational Assistant Program at the University of Winnipeg.

's preferred teaching style:
My teaching style is very relaxed. I don't like formality but am very serious about respect for each other. I tend to use humour a lot and like to make my students feel at ease. I don't think it's possible to learn if you are uncomfortable or nervous.
