long description:
When you contact me, please provide me with the specific time frame or topic of history that you need assistance with. I will tutor you and guide you in understanding the period in question and will explain any questions you may have regarding it. Additionally, i will give you insights and other facts and trivia about the period to enhance your knowledge. Upon request, I will try to provide you web resources about your topic.

I will also tutor or teach you about American Government and Civics. When you contact me, if you let me know what area of government that you are currently studying, I will work with you to help you understand how our government works.

description of :
I like to give my students facts and information in a fun way. I think history can be a fun topic, as it is more than people, dates, and wars. I like to add flair and fun and to make it interesting by finding interesting facts about the period.
Teacher's qualifications:
I was a teacher for VisionQuest Morning Star Youth Academy. It is a facility for at-risk boys. I taught Civics, American History, and World History. I have also taught for Bedford County Public Schools as a World History teacher and I am currently a Substitute Teacher for the Bedford County Public School System.
's preferred teaching style:
I like to use examples when i can. I also use visuals when I can. I feel that students learn best when they have examples to look at and that they are guided by rewording how the question is asked. For example, if the question is about the Preamble to the Constitution, I would say something like "What is the purpose of the Preamble?" (to give an introduction) "So, if the purpose of the Preamble is to give an introduction, what does the Preamble introduce?" (the Constitution)
