Introduction to World Religions

courses

 with Rachel Morgan

short description:
This course is designed to examine historically & comparatively the major religions of today.

long description:
This course is designed to examine historically & comparatively the major religions of today. We will do this not from a theological viewpoint whereby we attempt to force them into the “tenets” of our individual faith, but rather by taking each of them on their own merit, including their beliefs & practices in modern society. To do this successfully the student must be willing to “delve” into his/her own experiences of suffering and love and make themselves open to new ideas. This class will require more self-awareness and personal engagement in the subject matter than most other disciplines may require.

fee comments:
It is currently an accredited class that students are paying in excess of $690.00. I'm not sure how this works with this format so am flexible on fees.
