Job Description
• Assisting individuals with activity of daily living
skills, to be an active participant in their community and to
strive to help them live at their fullest potential.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of client’s in
provider’s care.
• Providing Health Assessment, Intervention and
Evaluation for the patient.
• Provide proper nutrition for the patient’s diet.
• Administration of patients medicine
• Encouraging physical and mental activities.
• Assess and monitor client’s physical and mental status.
• Provides comprehensive nursing process and nursing
management to client.
• Prevention of medical complication to patients.
• Provide timely, complete, legible, and accurate
documentation of all respite assignments and comply with all
reporting requirements
• Honor all aspects of the Client Bill of Rights and
adhere to all policies of confidentiality.
• Providing immunizations, managing high blood pressure,
insulin administration, and other chronic illnesses.
• Counseling patients on healthy lifestyles
• Assigned in a Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in numerous
International standard hospitals eg. St. Lukes Medical Center,
Asian Hospital, Makati Medical Center etc.
• Provides nursing care to critical medical, surgical and
traumatized patients.
• Supports the patient and family in the dying process.
• Performs an admission assessment and subsequent
assessments.
• Completes required documentation.
• Completes a head to toe physical assessment and a
social assessment of the patient upon admission.
• Initiate cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, non-
invasive blood pressure, and oximetry.
• Start/or evaluate IV site.
• Evaluate existing drainage systems in place.
• Recognize cardiac arrhythmia’s. Intervene using
physician orders,
• Re-assess patient to identify progress and trends that
require intervention or reporting to the physician.
• Operate equipment: IV pump, PCA pump, Cardiac Monitors
(both room and central). Pacemaker, Ventilator, Bi-Pap,
Pressure Modules and other medical equipments.
