Various strategies will be analyzed that can be used immediately to improve classroom management and interest
long description:
Two classes each will focus on specific subject areas and how to differentiate based on learning styles, student interest and teacher resource availability. Focus will be on writing, reading, math and social skills. Student will create a differentiation plan for the final project.

minimum class size:
based on student need. I am very accomodating to needs of students. I will be flexible as I understand having a job and a family.

This fee is based per student. Fee is negotiable if more than 3 people would like to take this course to implement in their classrooms.

I am a special education teacher with more than 10 years experience. I have extensive knowledge of special education, co-teaching and differentiation. I am currently implementing the Daily 5 reading in my classroom and co-teaching in my building.
Teacher's qualifications:
I have been teacher of the year and am currently being nominated again. I taught Spanish and ESL in the past and am a translator for my county court and jail facility. I also am a certified EMT in my town.
's preferred teaching style:
My learning style can best be described as flexible and creative. I want students to learn how to learn. We must teach kids how to teach themselves to be life long learners. My classroom on any given day can be seen as busy, fun and project based. I allow students the freedom to show mastery in choosen ways that are approved. This allows students to all shine in specific areas that a sit down and listen approach would not show.
