. Hrs per week: 40, Implemented and instructed educational sterile product course for pharmacists, as well as, pharmacy technicians, and South University pharmacy students while there on rotations at WINN Army Community Hospital.

Served as Unit Dose Pharmacy Technician in the Inpatient Pharmacy which provides support to over 49 clinics and wards with an inpatient capacity of 165 beds. Received and reviewed Doctors orders from the wards for the full range of Pharmaceuticals handled by the Pharmacy. Received, compounded, filled, labeled, and filed prescriptions, bulk drug and unit dose orders. Filled medication carts and delivered to wards. Maintained file of inpatient records. Responsible for ordering, pre-packing and maintaining unit dose medications for the wards and some clinics. Performed monthly ward and clinic inspections. Performed work counts maintenance in the CHCS computer system. Completed bulk drug orders on a daily basis. Prepared IV preparations for Pharmacist to check and deliver. Reorganized entire unit dose storage area, which improved the quality control and efficiency of the section. By examining cost and availability of manufactured unit dose medications, I saved hundreds of dollars per month in expired medications, as well as several hours a week of manpower required to pre-pack these medications. Updated 38 bulk drug order list, which allowed for proper work unit credits and documentation. Duties: Serve as Budget Analyst, Supply Supervisor and Inventory Management Specialist which consist of a wide range of skills and knowledge in several areas to include budget, computer data maintainance, inventory management, supply cataloging, and logistical contracts. Responsible for budget formulation, presentation and execution of funding for the pharmacy's $16 million budget with responsibilities for the full range of review and analysis functions. Exercise fund control, prepare justifications to defend budget, schedule and procurement authorizations. Review commitment register and conduct monthly DbCAS scrubs. Conducts management studies of budget, work processes and procedures based on inflation and historical data. Explains budget policies. Compiles and prepares all budget reports on various forms for four pharmacy sites from several automated systems separating by DODDAC, APC, object class and line item for submission to chief of pharmacy. Analyzes fund utilization and prepares status of fund report. Enter workload in computer system. Give budget briefings to chief of pharmacy and PT committee members. Serves as contracting officer representative (COR) for all pharmacy contracts appointed by DSCP utilizing Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) to maintain contracts. Prepare contracts, supporting documents, receiving reports, purchase request, TDY request, travel orders, TDY settlement vouchers and local travel vouchers. Review and reconcile budget accounts with copies of AOE/YRZ report in DMLSS and obligation history report provided by Data Based Commitment Accounting System (DbCAS) assuring accounts are properly charged. Administrator for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support System (DMLSS). Appointed as MEDDAC computer superuser with a detailed knowledge of all health care systems such as DbCAS, DMLSS, CHCS, ASIMS, DARS, CARES, WAWF, AND E-MALL. IMPAC credit card holder responsible for ordering all supplies for the pharmacy. Position upgraded. Manage 2 personnel.
