Speaking
I will help you build confidence in your speaking skills. Lessons focus on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. You will learn how to communicate clearly with co-workers, family members, school administrators, medical professionals, employers, and other individuals. I can also teach you important job interview tips and basic conversation skills.
Writing
Effective writing is very important in our daily lives. I teach writing skills. You will learn basic spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills. I also provide a proofreading service and can review your correspondence and other documents.

Hello. My name is Monika. I am a compassionate, results-oriented teacher with over fifteen years of teaching and tutoring experience. My current experience includes teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to adults at a local school district. My lessons focus on speaking, reading, and writing. I also teach English to small business groups.
Teacher's qualifications:
I have a Bachelor of Education from U.B.C. with teaching concentrations in Languages and Art. My teaching experience includes secondary school English, Art, and German. I currently teach Adult English as a Second Language classes. In my spare time, I tutor students in English and German.
Prior to teaching ESL, I worked and trained in the area of Human Resources. I have extensive experience in Recruitment, Labour Relations and Employee Benefits. If you require assistance with your resume and cover letter, I can assist you with promoting your strengths and abilities. I can also help you with mock job interview sessions. This will help improve your confidence and interview skills.
