An examination of the 5 main approaches in psychology: Biological, Psychoanalytic, Behavioural, Cognitive and Humanistic.
long description:
Students will be introduced to the 5 basic approaches of psychology (see above),
and discuss topical events such as differences between the sexes, obedience,
aggression, social roles, child development, intelligence and prejudice in the light of
these approaches. Students will develop skills of description and evaluation from a
psychological perspective.
