I have been a mentor teacher in my district as well as a cooperating teacher for seven senior-block student teachers. I have authored two educational texts - including one on how to teach Social Studies. Both texts are being used at the college level.

I have taught online classes at the college level. Communication is a key to any online course. I use research and fact-finding online in every course I teach. I challenge students to rise above the level they believe they are at. I expect students to be active in the learning process - and not lean on the instructor for every piece of information.
