This course is a survey of British Literature.
long description:
This course is designed to develop the analytical, research, presentation, and
expository writing skills of students planning to attend a four-year college or
university. This class will investigate the impact British literature has on American
culture. Grammar, usage, and mechanics will also be refined over the course of the
class. Skills in literary analysis will be refined as students read selection from a
wide array of authors. In addition, each student will be required to complete a
substantial research project prior to completing the course.
