This course will provide insights into the development of the young child and ways to encourage that development. It will also give techniques on discipline and how to cope with unwanted behaviors. The course will also focus on the developmental milestones of young children and how to help your child/children achieve them! I will give ideas for creative art activities, learning experiences, and other parent/child practical activites that will encourage development in your child/children. The first three years of a child's life are exciting and wonderful, but can be very trying on parents and caregivers. This course will offer support, advice, and community for parents and caregivers going through this extrordinary time!
I am a certified teacher and I am a mother of a two year old and three year old! I have also taught daycare for newborns and toddlers and preschool for two through five year olds! I am currently working on my developmental therapist certification for children ages newborn to three years old!

I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with endorsements in Language Arts, Math and Social Science from Northern Illinois University
I taught a University level course entitled University 101 on time management, overcoming peer pressure, study skills, test taking skills and other relevant student suggested concerns.
